How to Find the Waterfall?
Step 1: Arrive at Jewel
Jewel Changi Airport is well-connected to all 4 terminals (T1, T2, T3, T4) and the Changi Airport MRT Station. You can also go there by bus or car.
Step 2: Find the Rain Vortex
- From MRT Station: Jewel is directly connected to the MRT station via link bridges located at level 2 of Terminals 2 and 3. Then follow the signs to the central area of the building.
- From the Terminals: Follow the overhead signs directing you to Jewel and make your way to the centre.
Step 3: Locate within Jewel
The Rain Vortex is located in the central atrium of Jewel - the Forest Valley. It’s hard to miss due to its towering presence. As you enter Forest Valley, you’ll see the waterfall cascading from the ceiling.
Best Spots to View the Waterfall
For the best views of the Rain Vortex, head to the Forest Valley's main area or the observation decks. The central plaza and walkways provide the most perspectives of the waterfall. Or you can choose to take the Skytrain to pass through it.
Canopy Park
Located on the top level of Jewel, Canopy Park offers elevated views of the Rain Vortex, providing a unique perspective of the waterfall.
Forest Valley Walking Trails
Stroll along the walkways in the Forest Valley, which surrounds the Rain Vortex and provides close-up views. From this spot, you can appreciate the waterfall from different angles.
Observation Decks
Jewel features designated observation decks around the Rain Vortex, which offer unobstructed views and are ideal for taking photos.
Rain Vortex Plaza
The central plaza beneath the waterfall is a prime location for watching the Rain Vortex. From here, you can see the waterfall in all its glory and witness the light and sound show up close. If you’re lucky, you might even see a rainbow here!
Skytrain
The Skytrain connects all terminals and Jewel Changi Airport. You can board the Skytrain at Changi Airport's terminals (T2 or T3). There will be an immersive Zootopia view from the waterfall.
