New City Area Lijiang|3km from downtown
We stayed here for 3 nights and it was so nice! All in all, everyone was friendly, helpful and always so thoughtful.
Amenities:
- They serve breakfast and afternoon tea which is both nice! For Muslims, just tell them that you want a halal breakfast and reconfirm when you arrive at the dining area
- The front desk is usually not empty so you can always ask anything but if not, they reply to your WeChat real quick👌🏻
- The ******* Tea Session was very informational and just a very fun chill and hang
Location:
- Homestay is near the south entrance of Lijiang Ancient Town
- Location is a bit far from Lijiang Ancient Town but it’s nice and peaceful. Definitely walkable, about 15 minutes. If you’re a bit more adventurous, you’re welcome to try the underground tunnels to reach there without having to cross the road as much. But mind you, they do close at like 10.30pm
- Food is easily accessible around the homestay and in my opinion it still feels safe when you’re walking at say like 11pm
Extra:
- Language wise, if you don’t speak Chinese then they are very open and willing to just constantly translate with you through theirs or yours phone
- For muslims, halal food near the homestay was hard to find but you can definitely find them in the ancient old town or it’s surroundingFromSGD 48

Forgot to take picture, only video so i screenshot from my video. I stayed for 4 days 3 nights.
Location 5 mins walking distance from north entrance.
I am a little short of breath while walking from stay place to entrance due to the journey is slightly uphill or maybe not familiar with the new altitude area.
Overall, the place is so nice and big. Love the room since its at the very end, so the room pretty silent at night, bcus there is quite loud sound from outside during the night.
Good service from the staff, always fast respond on wecha*, very helpful.
There is also halal food nearby 🤗FromSGD 29

Location is inside the old town, just 2 mins walk from the entrance. Room is clean and comfortable. We were greeted by Xiao Bai whenever we return to the hotel.The host was extremely helpful to our needs and requests. She helped us to book and arrange for a tour to the Snow Mountain, booked Didi to the train station and even gave us some flower cakes when we checked out. Will surely recommend this hotel to my friends.FromSGD 34

Inside Dayan Ancient Town Lijiang|2.39km from downtown
I cannot recommend staying at this guesthouse highly enough. Upon arrival, I was immediately treated like family. The hosts are outgoing, warm and hard working, always trying to assist your stay or help you to enjoy your time in Lijiang. The host showed me around the old town when I was looking for nice food, took us out to bars in the evening and organised communal dinners for all guests, which were a highlight where we got to experience some authentic Chinese food and great friendships. This doesn’t feel like going to a hostel, but being accepted into a big Chinese family, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
My room was also extremely comfortable and affordable, with a double bed, air con and en suite. Thankyou to the hosts for a great stay that I will not forget!FromSGD 22
