Many great points to this hotel which is less than half the price of more prestigious hotels but not lacking in convenience or amenities - Spacious room; modern facilities; a large and convenient alcove for luggage and hanging clothes; comfy bed and pillows; great city outlook through floor to ceiling windows (comfy queen room with city view); helpful staff; very central location; convenience store (with coffee machine!!) and grocery shop very close by; free washing machines + detergent available on 3rd level up from reception; area to hang washing; delighted with our stay.

A very good hotel with fine facilities such as the gym, washing and drying washing which is free to use and also free luggage storage. The bed is clean and big enough to fit in three people. Clean and quiet room. Toilet is nice. The hotel counters are fast and efficient with quick reply through their WeChat account in providing any services.FromSGD 24

Hotel entrance is a square, no driveway.
If arriving by car, have to enter via the carpark located at Lian Hu Qu, She Hui Lu, no. 8 (导航莲湖区社会路8号). This is also the pickup point for didi.
If order delivery to hotel, the address is 西大街45号钟鼓楼广场宜必思尚品钟鼓楼回民街酒店（房间号）.
Learnt from the hotel that due to the local regulation, there was a change in the numbering of the address. Hence the confusion of hotel location.
Small and functional hotel. Staff took great care to customer request and needs. Patient, friendly and helpful regardless Chinese or non-Chinese.
Do note that hotel aircon is centralized controlled. Room with window is a must for ventilation and cool air esp during end winter period where the temp fluctuates greatly.
Bfast is acceptable but can improve with better coffee (black coffee please without sugar and milk/creamer), more drink options, toaster to heat up the hard dry bread, rotation of food and probably a menu of the noodles stations on the various noodles and dumpling available.FromSGD 44

My second time here at Desti Youth Hostel. Seamless check in process despite I arrived late at midnight. I chose 10 person female. dormitory which located at 2nd floor and the big is spacious that you hardly feel there's 10 people staying in same room. Each bed equipped with thick curtain to provide privacy and a bottle of mineral water also provided and is being replenished every day.
Location wise is very good. Close to Bell and Drum tower, and close by Huimin / Muslim street which takes about 5-1 0minutes walking from the hostel. The hostel is accessible via subway Zhonglou station and use exit no 7 to get to the hostel. The hostel also provide free map but you can easily find your way around Xi'an by installing AMAP map.
Staff is friendly and well converse in English so don't afraid to seek their help in case you need them. Laundry is also provided with free detergent at front desk.
Will stay here again next time I'm in Xi'an. Thank you Desti Youth Hostel and till next time :))FromSGD 9
