"Right at the entrance of the Pyramid, directly opposite the Sphinx, it is very convenient to return to the hotel after fun. There is a KFC Pizza Hut nearby, but the restaurant on the rooftop of the hotel is so delicious and beautiful that there is no need to eat out. The hotel owner was very enthusiastic and upgraded me to a room with a view, which was great"
"View of the pyramids from the first line - yes. The entrance and approach to the hotel is through a run-down and dirty alley of 400 meters, nearby there is only local ”color”. There seems to be partial repairs, but it seems not, crooked and unfinished. There is hot water. There is a heater. There is breakfast, but after watching the process, we did not want to have dinner. The owners are kind and smiling, as are everyone else."
"Very friendly! The interior is beautifully decorated! The spacious roof terrace is used as a dining area and has an incredibly beautiful view of the pyramids! Amazing!!! Only paid €105 for 2 nights for 2 people! Regards, Karl"

"It's a great place to enjoy the pyramid. Not only that, the location is very good as various tour pickups are done at nearby kfc. Even though I arrived at 1 a.m., the check-in was smooth and the toilet and bedding were comfortable. Above all, it was nice to be able to see the pyramid while having breakfast on the rooftop of the hotel."
"The B&B is only ten minutes drive from the entrance of the pyramids. The location is very good. The guy at the front desk is very friendly. The B&B is clean and tidy. You can see the three pyramids and the Sphinx from the room and the rooftop terrace. The key is the price. Not bad~ There is only one entrance on the first floor of the B&B. The front desk is upstairs. When you get to the door, just open the door or ring the doorbell~"
"A good hotel with a beautiful view of the pyramids. The king size bed is very large and comfortable, a solid mattress, clean bed linen. The bathroom is a bit cramped, the sink faucet is too high, which causes water to splash around. The water pressure is good. The window is blind, there is a slight draft of garbage from the street. Excellent breakfasts, where you can take bottled water, a good restaurant for dinner, a four. A pleasant girl at the reception asks guests what they would like to improve in the hotel.
It is worth discussing separately that Giza is not the most favorable place for walks, especially in the evening, there are many intrusive locals, it is better not to leave the hotel in the evening and at night. I warn you: plan to visit the pyramids from Mon to Thu, from Friday schoolchildren from all over Egypt are brought to the pyramids, it will be impossible to push through.
A good hotel for two nights is just right 👍"
"Fantastic hotel! It is just in front of the pyramids so you can go there by a walk. You can see perfectly the ”sound and lights” show there, it has the most beautiful views from its rooftop and you can have dinner in its restaurant (sandwiches, pizza, pasta, egyptian food and so on). This is the perfect choice."
"I recommend this hotel because you can spend your time peacefully and safely!!
The view may have been better if we had stayed closer to the pyramids, but I was very satisfied with my comfortable stay and would recommend it.
・Hospitality is the best.
They welcomed us warmly and kindly, and were very helpful. All the staff greeted us with a smile. They didn't try to sell us tours, and we were able to spend our time peacefully and safely.
The female receptionist in particular was the most kind and wonderful person, and I think her kindness is reflected throughout the hotel.
・The hotel was also very clean
・The hot shower had strong water pressure!
・Nice room furniture
・Delicious breakfast
・Nice view (It's different from the hotel in front of the pyramids, where you can see the three pyramids, but I was very satisfied to see the big pyramids and the city view together. This view is also majestic)
・The hotel is located in a residential area for citizens, so there are no touts.
・It's about a 15-minute walk from the central area where you can see the three pyramids, but it was safe to walk there.
・There is a big road nearby, and there is a lot of traffic until late at night, so some people may be bothered by the noise.

I would recommend it for a safe and peaceful stay!
The view could have been better if we stayed closer to the pyramids, but we were very satisfied with our comfortable stay and would highly recommend it.
- The hospitality is excellent (especially the female receptionists. Her hospitality is one of the best in the world!! )
They greet you kindly and warmly and are very helpful. There is no tour sales pitch.

"Great view of the Pyramids from the location as long as you don't mind the busy road next to the window. The staff were great and very friendly and trying their best when things were not going as planned. During our stay the water pressure wasn't high enough to get water hot through the gas geyser so the hot tub was useless."

EEsee MunkhIf this hotel is in your budget, JUST BOOK IT! You can’t find any hotel that is better than this. I swear, Al Farida is one of the 2 best hotels in Giza!
I was searching for a Giza hotel for over 2 weeks, yet couldn’t find any. Decided to get a hotel after I arrive in Giza by seeing with my own eyes and chose this one.
THIS HOTEL IS BRAND NEW, 2 months old as of January, 2025. When you enter the room, you’d smell wood from new furnitures, very pleasant. Shower is nice, instantly hot.
Location is very good, 50-100 meters from the entrance of Giza Pyramids but no smell of horse and camel dung. As it’s so close to the pyramids, the view from the rooftop is breathtaking as well…
Staff are amazing as well. Lovely Muhamed (both), Eslam, Tahir… They’re all fantastic, will make your stay great. Also, you’ll see the cutest bellboys there (only 15,17 years old).
In short, JUST BOOK IT. Hotel rooms look exactly like on the pics. Don’t hesitate. Trust me!
Minor issues to fix: Curtains were half in our room, breakfast and food takes more than 30 minutes.
Ssakib binhasanThe hotel is one of the oldest hotels nearest to the pyramids. It's one minute walking distance to pyramids main entry. As an old infrastructure they tried to renovate at their best but however there may have lacking ie. Lights functioning, lock system etc. But I recommend all for their wholehearted support and generosity towards their guests. They are all the way helpful. You can also book transportation from them, I believe that will reduce your troubles outside with taxi negotiations.
YYIN BINGThe room is not very big, but the cleanliness is good, I stayed in the room has a small terrace, can see part of the pyramid view, the rooftop restaurant is invincible, the pyramid panoramic view, while eating breakfast, while admiring the pyramid The view, full of happiness.
EErna ZaabarDon't be shocked if you stay here, as the main road leading to this hotel is full of horse and camel droppings. Luckily, the small path that takes you to the reception lobby is clean.
As for the room, everything was fine and okay. The reception staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast with the pyramid view was absolutely awesome.
AAkkarpanLocation, location, location! Mohammed and Mustafa and staff are lovely and the best thing about this is location. Also, AC is great and hot water in shower, all really good things. Splurge and get the balcony, because if you get the $15 room, it’s an inside room - read everything carefully. But the balcony gives you breakfast with the pyramids. A couple of doors over there is heaven‘s lounge which you can get beer and alcohol at which is lovely to spend the evenings at with wine under the pyramids. You will get nothing of that here. I do have a bit of a bone to pick with trip.com because they didn’t do their research as there is no restaurant, there is no bar and there is no pool or gym in this place, which is why I downgraded the amenities. However if you were going to Giza for the pyramids, this is the place. Yes it is right behind the camel and the horse staging area so from 8 o’clock in the morning till quitting time which is 4 o’clock in the afternoon, you will have the authentic experience. If you do not like trash, if you do not like dust, if you do not like smells, you should probably just not be coming to Egypt in general! Because it is everywhere. However, if you want the authentic experience at the base of the pyramids, this is the place. Oh, and the Internet is crap… So just make sure you have a really good cellular plan because it’s no better anywhere else in Egypt either. From our experience, and we have traveled everywhere, the left over British colonies just don’t have a really great Wi-Fi infrastructure.
SSkee82Staff Amazingly friendly and helpful, The views are incredible from room to resturant to roof top, where i got to watch and hear the evening light show in fully glory.
Booked for my 1st 2nights in Egypt, perfect location in front of the sphinx side entrance to the plateau, literally a 2 min walk..
This side of Giza is rough and ready though.. with animals being housed on the ally leading to the entrance so expect the smell of horse and camel poo (which wasn’t a problem once in the hotel) also expect to be bothered a lot by the local hustlers and kids begging for something/anything..
The streets are noisy and hectic this side but you also get a more authentic Giza experience,
The Hotels staff were super accommodating and welcoming, they were willing to help organise trips and guides but I wasn’t in need as i already had stuff arranged..
Breakfast was basic but enough to get your day of adventure started with plenty of option around for off site dinning.
The best thing apart from the staff was the view tho.. with all 3 great pyramids and sphinx in view and close enough to get the full effect inc the sounds of the light show.
Would recommend for a cheap budget stay close to the entrance of the plateau with the best views
CcarolanneThe reason to stay is the view. But we booked a standard room without view as would have it during breakfast.
Arrived and did not have our room so put is in a room with view Nd then moved us to standard room. The reason to book anywhere for two nights is to relax.
I said no to upgrade that's how I found out they did not have my room. I wanted to Unpack a little and have stuff out. Not have to pack up before being picked up on tour.
Sales pitch expected as poor area.
Breakfast was way too much, very tasty
Roof views are great and across the road from entry gate to pyramid.
Area is very poor, motel sent a footman with me to teller and back so would be safe.this was great help to me but gives you an indication of the area. You have to stay this close of U want to look out and see the pyramid so close.
Overalls I don't think a bad stay, bed sheets clean, staff nice although push for review, but after seeing the area these people need tourist work to survive.
PPawel_DThank You for perfect holiday in Your Hotel. I travel with my father and he was very happy. The View from the roof is perfect, the best. People working in hotel are very friendly and helpful. I really recomend This hotel for everybody. Special Thanks to Samir from reception. He was very helpful with everything I need. All people from restaurant was very nice too! And food was very Good. Pawel from Poland :)
DDaniel & Cici Around the WorldGiza Pyramid Inn is very conveniently located, right in front of the Pyramids, offering an amazing view from the rooftop. The breakfast was very good, and the ability to wake up and see the pyramids right outside is definitely a highlight of this stay.
However, there are a few important things to consider. While the pyramid view is stunning, the neighborhood itself leaves much to be desired. The area is chaotic, not well-organized, and quite dirty. As this is a very touristic spot, you will constantly encounter people asking for money or trying to overcharge you for something, which makes it essential to stay alert at all times.
The hotel itself follows the same pattern. The tours they offer are significantly overpriced, likely because some people pay for the convenience, but the prices are far from reasonable. Additionally, we were promised a takeaway breakfast due to our early flight, but when the time came to collect it, they said it was not available. Despite confirming our departure time in advance, we ended up having to buy food at the airport, which was disappointing.
Overall, if you are staying here for the location and the pyramid view, it might be worth it. However, be prepared for the typical tourist traps and be mindful of overpricing. It’s a place that offers convenience, but with some frustrations along the way.
Llucila Del Rosario RomeroStaying at Phoenix pyramids View it filled me with great joy to be in this hotel, and share with all its staff. And it's super cheap. The fresh, nutritious and very varied breakfast. Since before my arrival in Egypt, they were very careful that everything was fine. The service from the airport to the hotel was completely free. Then upon arrival, Mr. Hany gave me a small tour around the area and introduced me to his friends from other hotels and businesses around, who kindly and as a courtesy gift gave me fruits and water. In the morning an excellent breakfast with the spectacular view and unique of the great Pyramids. The tours they offer are different places and you can feel in this hotel like your home and with your family. Thank you d do o much to Mr Hany (from Human Resources management) Hossam (the driver) and all the people who is part of the staffs. Shukran jazilan. Hamdoullah! I hope to see all of you soon INCHALLAH 🪴🙏
