Jutlandia Family Resort

The property impresses with clean rooms, friendly staff, and kid-friendly facilities. Its prime location near the beach, shops, and supermarket adds convenience. However, no significant disadvantages were mentioned.

Just back from a great time away with the family at this hotel and have nothing but good things to say about the hotel, the kids had an amazing time. Leon and the other entertainer were amazing with the kids I’m sorry I didn’t get the girls name big Leon was fantastic and the kids loved it. Entertainment each night at the hotel was good, was nice and relaxing atmosphere to chill and have a few drinks and unwind. The food in the hotel was lovely, had a few snacks and etc and it was very good, the bar staff were amazing. A special mention has to go to the night porter I didn’t catch his name but he was amazing, we checked in late at night around 3/4am and he made sure the check in was smooth and easy as well as giving us as much information as he could, and each night we sat out the front when bar area closed and I was chatting to him a few times and he was great for recommending things and places etc and always made sure to say hi and have a smile, his attention to detail was amazing to remember things etc as a former manager of a hotel my self i must say staff members like this are an absolute credit to the team and he is worth his weight in gold. I very much look forward to returning to this hotel

We just returned from staying here in early May. For what we paid for the apartment and flights with Jet 2 we can't really complain about value for money, but I did think the size of the apartment was small for a family of four (children age 12 & 8). You couldn't all sit around the small kitchen table together as it blocked you from opening the fridge door. You couldn't open the wardrobe in the main bedroom as it stopped someone coming in and out of the bathroom. You couldn't store all your clothes away as there wasn't enough shelving or wardrobe hanging space for 4 people. The balcony was cramped. I've stayed in bigger caravans! I'd say the one bedroom apartment we had was more appropriate for a couple with a baby/toddler. It was claustrophobic for a family of 4. We left after 2 days and relocated to a 4 star hotel independent from Jet 2 for the remainder of the holiday. The positives of Jutlandia apartment are: the location is great, the bar staff are friendly and choice of drinks and snacks behind the bar is good. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby. We can't comment on the food as we were room only. Swimming pool was great fun for the kids. They really enjoyed the slides. Price paid probably fits what the experience was. The negatives are: sunbeds are dirty and many were broken. They get stacked up so high each night that my 6 foot 1 husband struggled to get them down from a high pile every day. No one helps you put sunbeds out so you're reliant on getting a tall person to lift them off a giant pile or wait til mid day when peoplehave reached a few down and the pile gets smaller to grab them from. I'm tall, so I have no idea how shorter people manage. Then when you do sit on one it's broken. I found this really poor. The pool edges are painted a white shiny plaster effect and are slippery. The kids and I slipped into the pool a few times as you almost need to grab something to stop sliding in. Luckily we were fine but I can see there being accidents. Not many poolside parasols to go aroundand it was low season. Apartment too small and not enough storage. Kitchenette very basic. You're literally just provided with 4 glasses and 4 sets of cutlery and no spares. Beds not comfy. Pillows long and slim, so not really able to sit up in bed as they hurt your neck and back. And finally, if you arrive at night in the dark you're left to your own devices to find the apartment which ain't easy with 4 cases and 2 kids to drag behind you up several flights of stairs. Why the night security guard can't help you push a couple of cases that the kids can't manage to carry is beyond me? I wouldn't return again but did like the location and Santa Ponsa as a resort.
