"The hotel is great, just opposite the Zurich train station. This time I traveled with my mother and daughter. According to the reservation, they took the initiative to add a bed for my 11-year-old daughter. Fruits were free, and there were free chocolates. But I didn't notice that the canned chocolate beans in the minibar were not free, so I ate them anyway. So, it's okay. The service is very good and considerate. It's just a little expensive."

"Location – 9/10 One of the biggest advantages of Hotel Bristol is its central location. It’s just a 5-minute walk from Zurich’s main train station (Zürich Hauptbahnhof), making it super easy to get around. The Old Town (Altstadt), the Bahnhofstrasse shopping street, and the Swiss National Museum are all within walking distance. Despite being so central, the hotel is in a relatively quiet area, which is a bonus. Rooms – 7.5/10 The rooms are clean, functional, and spacious by Zurich standards. While not the most luxurious, they provide everything you need, including comfortable beds, a desk, a TV, and a private bathroom. Some rooms could use a bit of modern updating, but for the price point, they are well-maintained and comfortable. Service – 8.5/10 The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with recommendations or directions. Check-in and check-out are smooth, and the front desk is available 24/7. They also offer luggage storage, which is convenient if you have a late departure. Breakfast – 7.5/10 The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast, which is a nice touch. The selection includes breads, cheeses, cold cuts, yogurt, fruits, and cereals, along with coffee and tea. While not extravagant, it’s a good way to start the day. The breakfast area can get a bit crowded during peak hours. Amenities – 7/10 Since this is a budget-friendly hotel, the amenities are basic. There’s no gym, restaurant, or spa, but there is free WiFi, which works well. The heating and ventilation in the rooms are effective, but there’s no air conditioning, which might be a downside in the summer."

"Room was clean and surroundings have plenty of food and shops. Supermarket is also a stone’s throw away. We got a nice view of the river. Only thing was we had to wait an hour before we could check in as the room wasn’t ready, but the staff compensated us with late check out the next day. No complaints other than that!"

"We loved this hotel! Fabian and all of the front desk staff where amazing and made us feel so welcome. It's very close to the train station and walking distance to old town. Breakfast was also good in the M Lounge and the view from our junior suite was amazing. Our only complaint is the elevator situation. We almost missed our flight because it took us 30 minutes to get down. Only 2 out of 3 elevators where working the day we were leaving. Otherwise, it's a great hotel!"

"Location: The hotel is not far from the train station, but walking with large luggage can be a bit challenging due to an uphill path. Taking the tram for just two stops is a more convenient option. During my stay, there was construction next to the hotel, so I had to cross the street to walk on the other side. Cleanliness: The hotel is clean, and housekeeping provided daily room cleaning and fresh towels. Service: Staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. I was able to leave my luggage in the storage room before check-in time without any issue. Facilities: There’s hot water available for instant noodles and wooden cutlery provided, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was tasty, though the selection was limited — it would be even better with a salad bar."

"No Hot water on Friday night. Hot water only returned Saturday morning. Self checkin and checkout system lengthy and not intuitive. It took me a while to figure out how to turn on the heat. Everything else is fine!"

"The Ambassador is a newly renovated hotel just off the lake in Zurich. Old town and shopping just minutes away. Train station and tour busses a 30-minute walk Staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable and clean. WiFi didn't work but got a passcode for the business WiFi instead. Television also had some issues (kept rebooting). But, we chalk that up to a new place. Everything else was great!"
