The hotel is clean and nice
There is a Robinson supermarket right next to it.
There are no restaurants nearby. It’s inconvenient.
It's okay to take a taxi to the mall.
This is the place for any traveler who wants both a comfortable stay & good service at affordable rate.
It was wonderful and I will definitely stay there again.☺️
I love how spacious and clean the room was and it's just across the Roxas night market. I will surely be back. This is what budget friendly hotels should look and feel.
I was disappointed with the customer service I received. I arrived at around 2 AM on May 5, and the receptionist was not accommodating—she seemed irritable and in a bad mood. One of her coworkers, a young man, was very attentive and even helped me with my things and assisted with my taxi. While in the lobby, I noticed her colleague had to wake her up from a nap.
It was clear she was annoyed from the moment I arrived. She asked if I had a booking, and I explained that I had inquired earlier but couldn’t complete the form because my phone battery had died. She looked visibly irritated.
I even mentioned that good customer service and a pleasant attitude are important, especially during late hours. It’s not right for her to be in a bad mood, and mag mog-ot just because her sleep was interrupted. This should be improved for the sake of other guests. We always book at Jotel in Davao, but this is the first time I've experienced poor customer service.
During my recent stay at this hotel, I was thoroughly impressed by the level of service and quality of accommodations. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me warmly and made me feel right at home. The check-in process was efficient and I was quickly escorted to my room, which was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished.
Throughout my stay, I enjoyed the hotel’s amenities, including the fitness center, pool, and on-site restaurant. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the service was impeccable. I also appreciated the convenience of the hotel’s location, as it was centrally located and easy to access various attractions and transportation options.
Overall, my experience at this hotel was exceptional and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The attention to detail, friendly staff, and top-notch facilities truly set this hotel apart from others. I will definitely be returning in the future.
The room is clean. But the ambiance is somewhat creepy. The price for the room is expensive. No Wi-Fi connection, key card not functioning. CR is above the room level (not suitable for PWDs or senior citizens). What I dislike the most is the food service. They will not serve the food in your room for whatever reasons they may have. Everything has a price even the disposable spoon and fork. Not suitable for work-related stay. You will exhaust extra resources for your comfort.
Location - Easy to find and located in a convenient part of the city with access to restaurants, banks and 7/11.
Service - receptionist very accommodating and quick check in.
Amenities - no lift, with pantry but needs permission to access. Would have been nice if they just open it for guests. Room and bath no hooks to hang clothes or towel but very clean and tidy. Liked the feel of the sheets.

It was wonderful and I will definitely stay there again.☺️
KKryzza AlojadoCheap place so you get what you pay for. AC was cold which was great after having to carry our luggages to the 4th floor using the stairs. Location was perfect as its walking distance to SM Lanang or you get a ride for P10.
GGuest UserLa Vida Hostel is a cozy retreat that stands out in Samal Island. Ninio, the owner and artist, wowed us with his dedication and warm hospitality. The hostel feels like a live-in gallery, surrounded by nature's beauty.
Breakfasts here are fantastic – don't miss out on the French toast! The place has a chilled-out vibe that's perfect for kicking back after exploring the island. Plus, it's super close to Peñaplata town, making it easy to rent a scooter and go on an adventure.
If you're into art, good food, and friendly faces, La Vida is the spot. It's a simple, welcoming place that's ideal for soaking up the local scene. Definitely worth the stay!
XXIAOJIANGThis person is very easy to find, and there are a lot of jeepneys at the door, you can take a car, the security is very good 24 hours, the room is very quiet, just staying for two days, the bath water is quite hot, and the wireless network sometimes disconnect Not serious, there is a lounge chair in the room, which is fun.
GGuest UserIt is my 3rd. time going back in this hotel. My latest booking is last June 19, 2024 and I was surprised that it is newly renovated. The rooms are clean and neat. The staff are welcoming and accommodating. The hotel has limited facilities but the price is so affordable. The location is convenient, near restaurants and coffee shops.
